Which one should you use?
- No ABN: Sniip. pay.com.au won't open an account without one.
- ABN, paying on Visa or Mastercard: pay.com.au's free plan is cheaper (1.32% incl. GST vs 1.50%).
- ABN, paying on a business Amex: Sniip is cheaper for payments under $100,000 (2.19% vs 2.31% incl. GST) unless you're on pay.com.au Premium.
- Personal Amex on household bills like utilities, insurance, school fees or rent: Sniip's 1.29% rate, if the biller's industry is eligible.
- The ATO on an Amex: Sniip's business rate applies even on a personal Amex, so compare 2.19% (Sniip) with 2.31% (pay.com.au free plan).
Worked example: $5,000 supplier invoice on Visa
Card earning 0.5 points per $1, points valued at 1 cent. Sniip: fee $75.00, about 2,538 card points plus 500 Qantas Points, worth about $30, net about −$45. pay.com.au free plan: fee $66.00, 2,533 points worth $25.33, net −$40.67. pay.com.au costs less, but Sniip's free Qantas Points narrow the gap.

Sniip has no referral program right now, so we don't earn anything when you use it. We may receive a referral reward from pay.com.au. That doesn't change the figures above, which come straight from each provider's pricing page.
