About Card The Bill and how we research
Card The Bill is an independent Australian information site about paying bills by card when the biller doesn't take cards.

Card The Bill is run by the Card The Bill team. Contact: hello@cardthebill.com.au.
How we research
- Primary sources first. Rules come from the ATO, the RBA and the banks' own pages. Fees come from each provider's pricing page.
- Dated checks. Every fee is labelled with the date we checked it. All figures on this site were checked on 6 Oct 2026.
- No guessing. If we can't verify a figure, we say "check current fees" instead of estimating.
- Show the maths. Worked examples state their assumptions (earn rate, value per point) so you can rerun them in the calculator.
- Corrections. Spot an error or a change? Email us and we'll fix it and note it in the changes log.
How we make money
Card The Bill may receive a referral reward from providers we link to. Sniip doesn't currently run a referral program (its refer-a-friend page returned "not found" when we checked on 6 Oct 2026), so we don't earn from Sniip links. Links to Sniip and pay.com.au carry tracking tags so the provider can see the visit came from us. Rewards never change the fees or facts we publish.
What we are not
We're not a payment provider and we don't process bill payments. We don't give personal financial advice. The information on this site is general and doesn't consider your objectives, financial situation or needs. Paying bills by credit card only makes sense if you can repay the card in full.
